In addition to the builder's design selection options we chose, we are purchasing a few items to fill our new space. There is PLENTY of time to fill the space, but much our current furniture is going upstairs, so we needed a few items for the downstairs. We did a good job buying everything on sale. We have been searching and purchsing for months now to make sure we get the best deals! Boy did we visit a bunch of furniture stores! It was tiring ;)
We have yet to find furniture for our parlor. We want to get two wooden chairs and an antique table. We want this room very traditional, but will have to keep our eyes out. For now, we'll wing it :)
Believe it or not, we CANNOT find ONE photo of our bedroom set online anywhere. It's a King Canopy Bed (with chest and night stands). It's called "The Diplomat" and is in a chocolate cherry finish. Guess we'll have to look like fools and take a photo in the store. We had a HARD time picking out the bedroom furniture, but we finally found it at Rooms to Go! |

We chose black appliances. Here is our fridge. I love the French doors so that you can put large items (like a sheet cake) in the fridge!!! |
 |
| I think this is our dryer (or something close to it). The washer looks the same to me - both front loaders and white. |

Furniture in the Living, Dining, and Breakfast rooms will all be of the same design (Antigo). We currently have the dining room table (shown right) and coffee table (bought just after we got married). We have added the end tables and sofa table for the living room, the round 4-person table for the breakfast room, and added two additional chairs for the dining room. We toyed with the baker's rack (in the background), but we weren't 100% sold on it, so we skipped it. These were purchased at Ashley Furniture.

Along with our Antigo tables, we chose a sofa that is durable and dark so that Harley can snooze on it without ruining the fabric.
We got the sofa, loveseat, and rocking recliner. We found these at Ashley Furniture. |

| It was cheaper to get our own ceiling fans, so we went to Lowe's! We are putting fans in six rooms. |

| To finish off the dining room, we purchased a great piece of artwork from Scott Jacobs. It's called "Toasting a Legend" and has both of our hobbies: Harley Davidson for Denny and wine for Jeannie. The artwork comes with the bottle of wine shown in the picture. |

We have three locations where major lighing fixtures will be: foyer, dining room, and the breakfast area. Here is a picture of the light fixture for the dining room. The others are similar.
